Ordered the size 10 to see if it fit better than the 11, but it only was smaller in the foot. The shaft still widened toward the top, creating a gap between my calf and the boot. Guess I’d have to say that the 11 and the 10 are both running a bit narrow in the foot for an M width. I love this boot and wish it fit perfectly in every way.

So happy to finally find a tall boot to fit my athletic calves!! I’ve tried multiple other pairs and the extra width was never on the right location on my leg. This boot looks great (like another reviewer mention, it doesn’t *look* like a wide calf boot). The stacked heel gives a nice life without being uncomfortably high. The memory foam is very comfortable. The zipper does buckle in a little around the ankle, but I’m willing to deal with that for an otherwise great fitting boot. I’m normally a 6.5, and the 7 fit me perfectly. The shoe bed itself is not wide, which was another great selling point for me.

I have athletic calves so width is a huge issue for me! The calf is actually a little big on my legs, but that is exactly what I wanted so I can tuck in skinny jeans. The foot is a little narrow, but stretched some after only one wear. I think they will break in nicely. I usually wear a size 7 and I ordered a 7 1/2 which fits well. Still a little tight in my little toes. I think an 8 would have been to big. I would advise to order a bigger size then you normally wear, they run small. Love the memory foam. I got a compliment on them on the first wear! The heel is perfect, not too high. The color is gorgeous. Will wear with everything! Overall I’m very satisfied.

I have the hardest time finding boots simply because I have a really wide calf. I usually buy Steve Maddens Intyce boot every year because it’s the only boot with a wide enough circumference, until now!! When these boots arrived I was hesitant as I am every time I order boots but these fit and zipped so easily. I was shocked like really shocked! I then looked in the mirror and was just as pleasently surprised! They looked and felt amazing!

This boot is exactly what I was looking for! Very comfortable. Fits perfectly and looks great! Love the “almond” toe. Heel is a perfect height. Boot material is soft and looks expensive. My calves measure 151/2 to 16 and they zip right up over jeans. I could wear them all day! I wear a solid 9 and that is what I ordered and they fit just right. Just an FYI: There is a solid hard cardboard that is jammed inside the boot…I missed it and thought they were too tight, so look for it and remove before trying on! I definitely recommend these boots. And, of course Zappos is amazing! My order came really fast, about three days.

I wanted to love these. They fit so well. They looked nice. I really, really liked them. Except they were too tall. I’m 5’5″ and they hit me at the back of the knee and just didn’t work for what I’m wanting in a boot right now. If they were and inch or two shorter they would’ve been perfect. I’m sad to send them back.

I’m disappointed these didn’t fit. I normally wear 7.5 W so I tried them in 8 and 8.5. The 8.5 was too snug with hose. No way would I be able to wear socks. I’m 5’1″ and the boots came just under my knee. They look nice in person and I would have enjoyed owning them.

Very comfortable and an EXTREMELY wide calf. I have very wide calves but these boots are about an inch bigger than needed so there is a gap which I have NEVER had before. I like the black pair but returned the brown because I thought the fake leather looked fake.

AMAZING! I have never been able to wear knee high boots because my calfs are a solid 18″…these fit, with room over jeans and they don’t even look like “wide calf” boots!!

I love these boots! I’ve always had a hard time finding boots with my calves. I love that there’s no obvious elastic announcing that they’re wide-calf boots. They are fitted around my calves, a little loose around the top, and scrunch a little around the ankles, but they still look fine. They are extremely comfy with the foam – didn’t need to break them in at all. I do wear arch supports with them (but I wear arch supports with everything). I first bought the black pair, and loved them so much I bought the brown pair too!

Sad to say I just received these boots and they’re being returned immediately. The footbed felt great! size 7.5 fit but I probably wouldn’t be able to do a thick sock. the wide calf circumference is the problem. It really isn’t a wide calf. My calves are (left leg) 17.5″ & (right leg) 18″ at the widest part. I only tried on the right leg bc it’s bigger. I couldn’t zip it up more then half way. I measured the boot circumference myself and its 15.5″. There’s a small elastic gusset at the very top of the boot, but that doesn’t help if you need a little more room half way down. I also feel they don’t look as nice as they should for the price. They don’t look extremely cheap, but still look kind of cheap… if that makes sense. So that was disappointing 🙁

These boots have a great wide shaft that allow me to zip them all the way up. I wear them with dresses and jeans and always look nice. The boots look pretty obviously not leather, but not bad enough to not wear them. They are very comfortable.

These are one of the first boots that fit great for my “wide” calves! I really enjoy wearing them with jeans/pants and not having them get wrinkled up in the knee. They are a bit shinier than I expected, as well as being very light weight (doesn’t bother me but I could see that being a “style” factor).

In Love with these boots!!! They are a great simply black wide calf boot that are incredibly comfortable. I have them in both black and the cognac/brown color. Those two pairs are seriously the only boots I have worn the majority of this winter. Definitely worth the price.

I love these boots. I’m a wear a size 8, and these were spot on–didn’t have to size up or down at all. I have 15″ calves, and these leave plenty of room for a snug fit in skinny jeans and socks.

After reading some of the so-so reviews here I was nervous to purchase, but I loved my brown pair so much that I just ordered some in black. The width was wide enough for my wide calves, and the shafts don’t look as obviously made for wide calves as some other boot designs. No, they are not real leather, and that is why you are not paying double the price. They look enough like real leather, but they do not feel that way to the touch. They are quite comfortable. I am a teacher on my feet all day and have had no problems wearing these. I would highly recommend these boots. I feel they are a great value for the price and a fashionable, comfortable choice for those of use with bigger legs.

These boots are so comfortable. I have been struggling with some arch and bunion issues recently and wasn’t sure if I would ever be able to wear heels again. These have been great for me! My calves are 17.5″ in circumference and these are perfect.

I love these boots, but there are a few important things to know if you’re considering them. First, they seem to run a bit small. I ALWAYS wear a size 8 in shoes, but sized up to an 8-1/2 and it’s perfect. They’re super comfortable and feel like I could walk in them for a while or stand (I have a desk job so I haven’t tested this out yet). I also don’t think the circumference measurements are correct. My calves are 17 inches (the left a little tiny bit smaller than the right) and the boots fit my calves perfectly. Almost a bit snug on the right leg. There is no way they’re 18 inches like the page says.
With all that, they’re wonderful boots and they feel fairly stylish. I love them.

I would have kept this boot if the fit was right. I ordered my normal size 10, but felt like I need AT LEAST a full size, if not two, bigger than my normal. I couldn’t believe how tight they were. The footbed has a very soft cushion and I’m sure they would’ve been comfortable had they fit properly. The calf is quite wide and fit my 16″ calves just fine with jeans. The style is very casual and almost has a western flare which I kind of liked. I will be returning these because they are too snug.

I had to order a 1/2 size larger in a medium width to fit just right. I normally and almost always wear a straight 8.5m, but in these boots, to wear with socks, I needed a size 9. The calf circumference fit my calves without issue – I was quite pleasantly surprised, as it is rare that a simple “Wide” calf width will fit my 17.5″ circumference calfs with ease. Although the foot bed is a bit narrow for my usual comfort, I couldn’t be more happy with these boots.

I am in love with this boot!! I broke them in at work, bartending at a restaurant, feet were sore at the end of my shift but! They were not hurting at all the next day from it which is amazing! I wear them almost everyday. They’re the perfect basic black boot I’ve been searching for. They are a true wide calf and true to size, I wear an 8 and it’s a perfect fit! Most comfortable boot I’ve purchased in a long time!

I have a pair of short black booties i love so i thought i would try the tall boots. I like a wide calf so I can wear jeans or tuck pants into them. The heels are so comfortable, not like standing on a hard block. highly recommend!
